About The Position

Bunzl Safety is currently seeking a Cleaner/Porter for our facility in Piperton, TN. Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment? We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Porter/Housekeeper to support daily warehouse operations by ensuring all facility areas remain clean, organized, and free of debris. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive workplace for all employees. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, team-focused, and committed to excellence in housekeeping and facility support. Hours Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 (Overtime based on company need) The Warehouse Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, production, and common areas. This position supports operational efficiency by managing waste and recycling materials, maintaining employee facilities, and assisting with general housekeeping activities. The Warehouse Porter works closely with warehouse and operations teams to uphold company standards for safety, cleanliness, and workplace presentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, janitorial, facility maintenance, or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require, including short-notice overtime when necessary.
• Positive attitude with a focus on supporting overall facility operations.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning and material handling equipment.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Remove cardboard, packaging materials, and other debris from warehouse and production areas.
• Operate baling equipment safely and efficiently to process recyclable materials.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain clean and fully stocked employee restrooms.
• Clean and maintain break rooms and common areas on a daily basis.
• Operate floor sweepers and other cleaning equipment as needed.
• Assist with manual loading and unloading of materials, pallets, and trucks.
• Support warehouse housekeeping initiatives and facility improvement efforts.
• Follow all company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and professional work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
