About The Position

Bunzl Safety is currently seeking a Cleaner/Porter for our facility in Piperton, TN. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Porter/Housekeeper to support daily warehouse operations by ensuring all facility areas remain clean, organized, and free of debris. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive workplace for all employees. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, team-focused, and committed to excellence in housekeeping and facility support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, janitorial, facility maintenance, or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require, including short-notice overtime when necessary.
• Positive attitude with a focus on supporting overall facility operations.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning and material handling equipment.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift or material handling equipment experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Remove cardboard, packaging materials, and other debris from warehouse and production areas.
• Operate baling equipment safely and efficiently to process recyclable materials.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain clean and fully stocked employee restrooms.
• Clean and maintain break rooms and common areas on a daily basis.
• Operate floor sweepers and other cleaning equipment as needed.
• Assist with manual loading and unloading of materials, pallets, and trucks.
• Support warehouse housekeeping initiatives and facility improvement efforts.
• Follow all company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and professional work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
