About The Position

Axis Residential is seeking a people-focused Cleaner / Housekeeper for their 62 and older, active adult community - Affinity at Mirabeau. As the Cleaner, you will be responsible for general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the community. This role involves maintaining a community culture focused on enhancing residents' way of life, building strong rapport with residents, and performing daily cleaning of offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces, and common areas. The position also includes cleaning vacant apartment homes after move-outs, organizing and cleaning the pool house, managing cleaning equipment and supplies, and assisting with debris removal and trash can emptying. The Cleaner will also be responsible for cleaning the elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as scheduled and complying with all company policies and Fair Housing laws. Requirements

Must be a team player who takes a “we over me” approach to building and sustaining relationships with others.
Must be determined, ambitious, and self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills; must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Computer skills to include email, Microsoft Office Suite, ability to navigate web-based trainings, and other various computer programs.
High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
Reliable means of transportation.

Nice To Haves

Janitorial experience in hotel or residential management is strongly preferred.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing our residents’ way of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment.
Build strong rapport with residents of the community.
Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces and common areas daily.
Clean office spaces on a regular schedule that is set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Using the apartment cleaning checklist, clean vacant apartment homes after each move out.
Clean and organize the pool house. Tasks include straightening of the chairs on the pool deck, cleaning of the pool house public bathrooms (to include showers), and vacuuming and dusting of the amenity spaces attached to the pool house building.
Remove used towels in the pool area and replace them with freshly laundered towels daily.
Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces, amenity spaces, and common area, and empty public trash cans.
Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as regularly scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Comply with all company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws.
