Requirements

• Must be a current student enrolled in high school, trade school, or a post-secondary institution.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in a noisy, industrial environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
• Must be diligent in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in an industrial setting is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of basic industrial safety practices is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of production floors, workstations, and surrounding areas by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Collect, sort, and dispose of scrap metals, chemicals, and other industrial waste in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with minor tasks such as transporting materials, cleaning equipment, and organizing workspaces.
• Assist in cleaning up minor chemical spills and reporting larger spills or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Clean and maintain tools, ensuring they are stored properly and ready for use.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Keep records of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance needs or hazards to supervisors.
