About The Position

The finisher must be able to perform operations and operate all equipment efficiently in the belting, stoning and gauging of metal castings, defined as turbine components or castings of comparable weight and size (from approximately 5 to 50 pounds). Specific Duties : Incumbent must handle hazardous waste in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and company policy. Perform all clean and cap operations, including but not limited to: clean & cap tasks, mega dip, maintaining all automated equipment, mold prep, dewax, flash fire and special lot expediting. Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standard as established by Engineering. Record, on a daily basis, all work performed and the correct distribution of the work time identifying same by operational codes. Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly, following all safety rules. Perform other duties as designated by the supervisor. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.
