About The Position

This position is responsible for the professional instructions designed to provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers in the 21st century. This is a 4th Grade ELA team teaching position with multiple sections of English Language Arts delivered in a rotational schedule with other content-specific team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Endorsement in the grade/subject taught
• Valid Tennessee certificate
• Must be highly qualified
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position
• Governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas.
• Prepare students to be successful citizens and workers in the 21st century.
• Deliver English Language Arts instruction in multiple sections as part of a team-teaching model.
• Collaborate with content-specific team members in a rotational schedule.
