The Classroom Teacher - Stage 4 and 5 English creates an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students develop their literacy, communication and critical thinking skills. Through high-quality teaching, curriculum-aligned learning experiences, regular assessment and personalised feedback, you will support students to achieve their potential in English while fostering a love of literature and language. You'll support each student's journey, tracking progress with care and celebrating milestones along the way. This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Ability to address selection criteria as outlined in the Position Description (via cover letter).
  • Satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment.
