Classroom Aide – Westview Toddler Program. Toddlers are busy. Curious. Loud. Funny. And learning everything for the first time. If that sounds like your kind of environment, keep reading. Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County is hiring a Classroom Aide to support our Toddler Program at Westview. You'll work alongside classroom teachers and the Program Lead to create a space where children feel safe, supported, and ready to explore. This is a hands-on, active role. One moment you might be helping a child build a block tower, the next you're encouraging sharing, celebrating a new word, or guiding a group through a structured activity. You'll support daily routines like meals, playtime, and early learning activities while helping toddlers build independence, confidence, and social skills. Some toileting and hygiene support is part of the role. We're looking for someone who is patient, observant, and comfortable jumping into a busy classroom. Toddlers don't sit still for long, so flexibility, consistency, and a sense of humor go a long way. Spanish bilingual skills are a plus and come with additional hourly compensation. This position is part of a licensed program and requires meeting Washington DCYF standards, including background clearance and health requirements. Required training, such as CPR/First Aid and STARS, is supported and provided as needed.
