About The Position

Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County is hiring a Classroom Aide to support their Toddler Program at Westview. This role involves working alongside classroom teachers and the Program Lead to create a safe, supportive, and exploratory environment for children. It is a hands-on, active position where the aide will engage in various activities such as helping children build, encouraging sharing, celebrating new words, and guiding structured activities. The aide will also support daily routines like meals, playtime, and early learning activities, while helping toddlers build independence, confidence, and social skills. The position includes providing toileting and hygiene support.

Requirements

Meet Washington DCYF standards
Pass background clearance
Meet health requirements
Be at least 18 years old
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Complete required training, such as CPR/First Aid and STARS (training is supported and provided as needed)

Responsibilities

Support the Toddler Program at Westview

Encourage sharing among children
Celebrate children's new words

Support daily routines like meals, playtime, and early learning activities
Help toddlers build independence, confidence, and social skills
