Classroom Aide (Youth Services)
About The Position
United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton (URS) is seeking a Classroom Aide to assist in the implementation of coordinated educational, physical, and social activities for a group of children in a classroom environment. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean and healthy environment and contribute to creating an inviting, child-oriented classroom that is developmentally and age-appropriate. URS has a long history of providing comprehensive services to individuals with disabilities and offers an inclusive Early Childhood Education Center, on-site nurses and therapies, and a CARF-accredited, Five-Star Gold-Rated program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse, and Communicable Diseases required.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or Associates in ECE or a closely related field preferred.
- Experience in ABA and/or Mental Health settings preferred.
- ECMH or Paraprofessional preferred.
