About The Position

St. Cecilia Academy and School is seeking a dependable and caring Classroom Aide to support teachers in creating a positive, organized, and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will assist with classroom instruction, help maintain a structured and respectful atmosphere, and support the academic and personal growth of students.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities, including small-group and individual support.
• Help maintain a structured, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Prepare classroom materials, organize supplies, and assist with routine tasks.
• Support students with varying learning needs under the direction of the teacher.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times.
• Encourage positive behavior and reinforce classroom expectations.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students to support daily classroom operations.
