About The Position

The Classroom Aide will join the Preschool Program at the Anacortes Family Center. This role involves working alongside Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, the Assistant Club Director, and the Club Director to create a classroom environment where children feel safe to explore, build friendships, and discover new skills. Daily activities may include reading stories, assisting with science activities, encouraging problem-solving, and celebrating milestones. The position aims to help children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Meet Washington DCYF standards, including background clearance and health requirements.
Flexibility to support program needs throughout the week.
Commitment to a Monday through Friday schedule.
