About The Position

At Early Learning Academies (ELA), we are looking for passionate and qualified teachers who want to grow in their careers while making a lasting difference for children and families. We are excited to announce that we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Classroom Aide to join our wonderful team! To qualify, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma. While we certainly value any previous childcare experience, don’t worry if you’re new to this – we’re more than happy to provide training for the right candidate!

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED
• EDU 119 and 12+ hours of ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it)
• Experience teaching young children
• A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth
• Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements

Nice To Haves

• Previous childcare experience is valued but not required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in daily classroom activities.
• Assist with the care and supervision of young children.
• Help maintain a safe and clean learning environment.
• Engage children in educational and recreational activities.
