About The Position

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Classification Management Officer 3 CMO 3 to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area. This role provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System. The position involves performing detailed analysis, quick issue resolution, and providing expertise on classification, control marking, and dissemination principles. The CMO 3 will offer classification management recommendations to senior customer leadership, generate, track, coordinate, and respond to action items promptly, and conduct classification reviews to identify and assess sources for classification determinations. Domestic and OCONUS travel up to 25% is required.

Requirements

HS Diploma and 12 or more years of relevant security experience or Associates degree and 8 or more years of relevant security experience or Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of relevant security experience or Masters/Doctorate and 3 or more years of relevant security experience
Ability to handle complex security classification issues
Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and it’s implementing directive
Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
Ability to utilize effective writing, communication and research skills
Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Nice To Haves

Ability to assist the government in the NRO Integrated Security Assessment Program (ISAP)
Experience working with industrial security staffs
Security Program Oversight Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures
Working knowledge of acquisition lifecycle security requirements
