About The Position
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Classification Management Officer 2 CMO 2 to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The Classification Management Officer 2 CMO 2 is a mid-level information security professional who provides advice and assistance to the Government regarding classification management. Provides classification management guidance in accordance with National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System. Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution and identify and assess sources for classification determinations. Expertise in research, analysis and writing while generating, tracking, coordinating and responding to action items in a timely manner. Ability to effectively brief audiences on security matters which relate to classification management. Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge. Research and write protection guidance products for customer programs and assets.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 8+ years of relevant experience or Associates and 6 + years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or Masters and 3+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
- Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer highly preferred
