About The Position

Ark Resource Group is accepting applications from qualified Florida Class D Security Officers for employment opportunities throughout Broward County and Palm Beach County. Opportunities may include security assignments in residential communities, commercial buildings, offices, front desks, lobbies, gated communities, hospitality locations, special facilities, casinos, ports, and other security environments. Ark Resource Group works with employers seeking qualified and dependable licensed security professionals throughout South Florida. We are accepting applications from Class D Security Officers with different levels and types of security experience. Candidates with specialized security backgrounds, additional certifications, military experience, law-enforcement experience, or port credentials are encouraged to provide complete details when applying.

Requirements

  • Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License
  • Security officer training completed through an appropriate security training school
  • Security school certificate or applicable training documentation
  • Valid government-issued identification
  • Valid documentation establishing authorization to work in the United States
  • Verifiable employment history

  • Reliable transportation to assigned work locations
  • Ability to work the schedule required by the hiring employer
  • Current Florida Class D Security Officer credentials

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring assigned facilities, properties, entrances, or designated areas
  • Controlling access to secured or restricted areas
  • Checking identification and visitor authorization
  • Operating gatehouses or access-control stations
  • Conducting foot or vehicle patrols
  • Monitoring CCTV and surveillance systems
  • Maintaining activity and incident reports
  • Observing and reporting suspicious activity
  • Assisting employees, residents, guests, vendors, or visitors
  • Responding appropriately to incidents
  • Following post orders and site procedures
  • Communicating with supervisors and emergency personnel when necessary
  • Maintaining professional conduct and appearance while on duty
