About The Position

Earthborne Trucks and Equipment, a family-owned business serving the Warrington and Philadelphia areas for over 50 years, is seeking a Class B Heavy Truck Diesel Technician. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a service department, equipment showroom, and parts counter, serving all makes and models of heavy equipment and heavy-duty trucks. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel technician.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to meet physical demands.
Computer diagnostic experience.
Experience with air systems, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems.
Must have own tools.

Nice To Haves

CDL and State Inspection certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform heavy truck repairs.
Diagnose issues and determine needed parts and labor.
Conduct routine maintenance on fleet and customer units.
Work with medium-duty trucks including dump trucks, delivery trucks, and box trucks.
Utilize knowledge of Allison, Cummins, Mac, and Freightliner systems.
