About The Position
We are seeking a responsible individual to fill the position of Class B Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be tasked with safely operating a single or tandem truck for deliveries in the Kansas City area and surrounding communities. This role requires proficiency operating a manual transmission, excellent knowledge of the local area, strong communication and customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Requirements
- Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
- At least one year of recent driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Must be very familiar with the Kansas City area and outlying communities.
- Must be at least 21 years of age per D.O.T. regulations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Integrity and excellent work ethic.
- Self-starter and motivated individual.
- Proficiency operating manual transmissions.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a single or tandem truck for deliveries.
- Navigate routes efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
