About The Position

Denali Water Solutions is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A or B CDL Grapple Truck Driver to join our growing operations team. This position is responsible for safely operating grapple trucks to transport, load, and unload materials across designated routes while maintaining compliance with all DOT, local, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have prior grapple truck experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence. This role plays a critical part in supporting Denali’s mission of replenishing the Earth by repurposing waste and promoting environmental sustainability. This position is safety-sensitive and requires a clear mind and diligence. Employees are responsible for their own safety as well as the safety of others.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL License
  • Must have prior Grapple Truck operating experience
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Clean MVR and stable work history
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements
  • Basic computer and cell phone proficiency
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating roll-off, dump trailer, or triaxle equipment
  • Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and heavy equipment operations
  • Waste, recycling, construction, or hauling industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A or B CDL grapple truck equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment
  • Load, transport, and unload materials using grapple truck systems safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, service tickets, and required DOT documentation
  • Operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles as needed
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch, operations, customers, and vendors
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment
  • Report all accidents, incidents, injuries, or safety concerns immediately
  • Attend required safety meetings, trainings, and operational briefings
  • Work flexible schedules based on operational and seasonal needs
  • Utilize electronic logging devices (ELDs) and mobile communication systems
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation laws
