About The Position

Coastal Welding Supply, a division of American Welding & Gas (AWG), is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver for their Baytown, TX location. This role involves the safe loading, unloading, transport, and delivery of gas and liquid cylinders and other supplies to customers and branches. The driver will be responsible for accurate paperwork completion and adherence to all safety regulations.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent.
Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements.
Clean driving record.
Able to read and write English.
Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Ground Assessment and company administered road test.
Ability to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

Loading, unloading, moving, and storage of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies.
Making deliveries to customers or other branches.
Filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.
Reading, understanding, and following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Complying with all DOT and OSHA Regulations.
Moving, loading, and unloading empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
Ensuring appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork, including shipping papers and delivery tickets.
Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.
Performing other duties as assigned.
