About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class A Yard Driver to join our team in Massachusetts. This role involves moving trailers and containers within a yard setting, not over the road driving. The position requires opening and closing trailer doors, updating moves via company software, and collaborating with other drivers for efficiency. Daily inspections to ensure truck safety are also a key part of the role.

Requirements

Valid Class A driver’s license
DOT MEDICAL Required
Clean driving record
No speeding 15 over
No DUI or criminal history
Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience
Must complete full application process
Must pass Yard test
You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Drive a gas- or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to move trailers and containers from door to door.
Move trailers from door to door by using a company software program.
Drives trailers and containers from door to door in a yard setting, not over the road driving.
Opening and closing trailer doors when making moves.
Updating moves made throughout the shift by using a company software program.
Work with other drivers to complete moves in the most efficient manner possible.
Conducts daily inspections to ensure trucks safety.
