About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class A Yard Driver to join our team in Massachusetts. This role involves moving trailers and containers within a yard setting, not over the road driving. The position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, working collaboratively with other drivers to ensure timely completion of moves. Candidates must possess a valid Class A driver's license and a DOT medical card, with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience in the last 3 years. The job offers 0% touch freight and a competitive hourly wage.

Requirements

Valid Class A driver’s license
DOT MEDICAL Required
Clean driving record
No speeding 15 over
No DUI or criminal history
Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience
Must complete full application process
Must pass Yard test
You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Drive a gas- or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to move trailers and containers from door to door.
Move trailers from door to door by using a company software program.
Drives trailers and containers from door to door in a yard setting, not over the road driving.
Opening and closing trailer doors when making moves.
Updating moves made throughout the shift by using a company software program.
Work with other drivers to complete moves in the most efficient manner possible.
Conducts daily inspections to ensure trucks safety.
