About The Position
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class A Yard Driver to join our team in Massachusetts. Candidates MUST HAVE AT Least 1 year of verifiable experience in the last 3 years. This is a 0% touch freight position.
Requirements
- Valid Class A driver’s license
- DOT MEDICAL Required
- Clean driving record
- No speeding 15 over
- No DUI or criminal history
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience
- Must complete full application process
- Must pass Yard test
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Drive a gas- or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to move trailers and containers from door to door.
- Move trailers from door to door by using a company software program.
- Drives trailers and containers from door to door in a yard setting, not over the road driving.
- Opening and closing trailer doors when making moves.
- Updating moves made throughout the shift by using a company software program.
- Work with other drivers to complete moves in the most efficient manner possible.
- Conducts daily inspections to ensure trucks safety.
