About The Position
New drivers and veterans alike are finding steady work out of Durant on this dedicated dry van account. This position offers a mileage rate starting at $0.50 cpm on a 6-month pay band, with an average weekly pay of $1,300 to $1,800 as experience grows. Drivers can expect to run 1,800 to 2,400 miles weekly, with freight running east of Denver across 27 states, excluding New England. Home time is every 2 to 3 weeks. The role involves dry van freight with various loading and unloading combinations. Day and night dispatch are available, with weekend work expected and holidays available upon request.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- 6+ months of verifiable solo experience (recent CDL-A graduates welcome)
- Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL training school
- 21 years of age or older
- Driver's license valid in current state of residence
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- No DUI/DWI within the past 5 to 10 years
Responsibilities
- Drive a Class A truck
- Transport dry van freight across 27 states east of Denver, skipping New England
- Perform live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook combinations
- Complete 1,800 to 2,400 miles weekly
- Be home every 2 to 3 weeks
- Work day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays upon request
- Pass a hair and urine drug screen
