About The Position

Strange Trip Inc. is hiring an experienced solo CDL A driver for a dedicated FedEx Custom Critical tractor lane originating and ending in Reno, Nevada. The regional route includes deliveries throughout California and the Northwest, with multiple stops and scheduled appointments. Drivers spend three days on the road and return to Reno, with the option to head out for an additional three days. Drivers working six days can earn up to $2,100 per week before resetting at home. The position uses a new Kenworth tractor and includes company-covered fuel, tolls, maintenance, and insurance. The company provides 24/7 support, a fuel card, and a strict preventive maintenance schedule. This is a W2 company-driver position paying $350 per day, with estimated weekly pay of $1,050–$2,100 depending on days worked. Bonus opportunities, an annual holiday bonus, weekly direct deposit, and listed benefits are also offered.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license with a hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain one.
At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last two years.
Clean motor vehicle record and background.
Ability to stay on the road for 3–6 days at a time.
Ability to manage multiple deliveries and meet scheduled appointment times.
Professional communication, reliability, and strong time-management skills.
