Requirements

  • Class A CDL License (self-certified as a Non-Excepted Interstate driver with the state of issuance)
  • Clean MVR and PSP
  • Must be at least 23 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years full-time verifiable tractor-trailer experience OR 21 years of age with 1 year of tractor-trailer experience IF a graduate from a Truck Driving School or 1 year of Military experience.
  • Stable work history
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Load, haul, and deliver food waste and green waste on intra- and interstate routes with approximately 15–25 stops per day based on company routing schedules
  • Operate 30’–45’ open-top dump trailers and combination vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and all local, state, and federal laws
  • Service customer locations using three-yard bins and 64-gallon totes containing food waste and green waste materials
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as needed
  • Utilize pressure washers to clean bins and containers while ensuring customer sites remain clean and debris-free
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
  • Use hand tools for minor repairs and maintenance of company equipment and containers
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment
  • Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) and maintain accurate DOT logs
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork, including service tickets, contamination reports, and maintenance documentation
  • Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure seamless service
  • Report all accidents, injuries, safety concerns, and equipment issues immediately to management
  • Attend weekly safety meetings, trainings, and operational briefings
  • Utilize computers and mobile devices for communication, training, routing, and expense management
  • Maintain flexibility to work varying schedules based on operational and seasonal demands
