We are seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to service bins using an end dump trailer in the Katy, TX area. This position offers local work on first shift, averaging approximately 50 hours per week. The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, communicates clearly, and adapts to changing route needs.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- At least one year of Class A CDL driving experience.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Knowledge of proper pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures.
- Comfortable using cell phones for work-related communication and tasks.
- Reliable attendance and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to accommodate route changes and additional stops.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a manual-transmission Class A truck with an end dump trailer.
- Service bins and complete assigned local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report equipment concerns.
- Use a cell phone to receive route instructions, communicate updates, and document service activity.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with dispatch and operations.
- Adjust to unexpected route changes, additional stops, and service requests.
- Follow applicable traffic laws, DOT requirements, and company safety procedures.
- Report delays, service issues, and changing conditions promptly.
