About The Position

Ajax Distributing Company is seeking a Class A Local Delivery Driver to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products to retail accounts in Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, and Lauderdale Counties. You will play a critical role in ensuring customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Excellent driving record and knowledge of traffic laws
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift heavy products and operate manual pallet jacks
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products using proper handling techniques
• Deliver products to scheduled accounts in a safe and timely manner
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws
• Ensure accuracy of product delivery by checking invoices and verifying orders
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers
• Report any issues or concerns to the Dispatch Supervisor
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
