About The Position

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking experienced Class A drivers with a strong commitment to customer service and safety to join their team. As a Route Delivery Driver, you will operate a company vehicle to transport freight safely and efficiently to designated locations within specified times. Responsibilities include unloading, sorting, palletizing, and reloading various types of freight, both manually and with mechanical assistance. You will also be responsible for completing all required paperwork in compliance with government regulations and company policies. CCFS aims for universal prosperity with its customers, company, team members, and communities, utilizing the latest technology for quality service and on-time delivery across the Western and Central United States.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
• Load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight
• Operate a Company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time
• Unload, sort, palletize, and reload a wide variety of freight, manually or with the aid of a mechanical device
• Complete all paperwork required by government regulations and Company procedures/policies
