About The Position

Waste Control, a Waste Connections company, is hiring for a Dump Truck Driver to join the team in Longview, Washington! This position will be hauling debris to Landfill up Headquarters Road. Schedule- Monday – Friday 5:30am to 3:30pm with Occasional Overtime Starting Rate of pay is $28.00/hr. We offer competitive wages along with a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements

Minimum 1+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws

Responsibilities

Valid Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement Required (With No Restrictions, on Manual Transmissions)
Ability to Operate and Maneuver Dump Truck.
Ability to read route sheets or Tablet and service each customer identified or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform Daily Pre-trip and Post-Trip inspections on vehicles. Such as checking fluids, safety equipment, lights and tire pressure.
Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Ability to work a physically demanding job.
Willingness to submit to and pass background check and pre-employment drug screening test
Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments
Clean driving record.
