About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to join our team in Easton, PA. This role involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations across NYC/NJ/PA, delivering a high level of customer service, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. The position offers consistent work hours, Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (5 AM to 3 PM), with opportunities for overtime. This is a full-time permanent role of 45 hours per week.

Requirements

• Class A license with a clean driving record.
• VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft.
• Pass a 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and pick-ups throughout NYC/NJ/PA.
• Operate a straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries according to the time schedule and clearly communicate any changes.
• Load and unload truck and organize contents per schedule needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and prepare for roadside inspections.
• Push/pull a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs.
