Class A Driver - Southwest Home Weekly Lane
About The Position
This position offers a Class A Driver the opportunity to run regional routes in the southwestern states. Drivers can expect to average $1,200-$1,500 weekly, with pay based on CPM for both loaded and empty miles. The routes are designed for drivers to be home weekly for a 34-48 hour reset, typically being out for 5 to 5.5 days. The freight consists of Dry Van, with 70% drop and hook and some live load/unload. It is 100% no-touch freight, and drivers have the option to take their truck home during their home time. Newer equipment from KW, Freightliner, and International is utilized.
Requirements
- 6 months of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Must have some driving within the last 90 days.
- DUI and felony history will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities
- Drive tractor-trailer for regional routes in the southwestern states.
- Pick up and deliver Dry Van freight.
- Perform drop and hook operations (70% of the time).
- Handle some live load/unload situations.
- Ensure 100% no-touch freight delivery.
- Take the truck home during home time.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
