About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations in the Baltimore, MD area. The role involves delivering a high level of customer service daily and operating a straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft. This is a full-time, direct hire position with consistent work hours.

Requirements

• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
• Passing a 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout MD/DC/DE/VA
• Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
