Class A Driver for Branch Transfers throughout Utah
About The Position
Burton Lumber is seeking a Class A Driver to perform branch transfers throughout Utah using a small fleet of tractor-trailers. Drivers will operate 389 Pete's and T-880 Kenworths with 53' all aluminum trailers. The position offers the opportunity to be home every day, with occasional Saturday runs on a volunteer basis during peak seasons. Pay is performance-based, with current drivers earning between $70,000-$80,000 annually. The role involves completing 3-4 loads per day, with a daily rotation for a run to St. George and back. Loaders are available in Salt Lake, and unloaders are present at all branches, minimizing downtime. The company utilizes E-logs in its transfer fleet. Burton Lumber has a long-standing history in Utah, operating for over 112 years.
Requirements
- Class A Driver's license.
- Ability to complete 3-4 loads per day.
- Willingness to participate in St. George run rotation.
- Familiarity with E-logs.
