About The Position

Burton Lumber operates a small fleet of tractor-trailers for branch transfers throughout Utah. Drivers will operate 389 Pete's and T-880 Kenworth tractors with 53' all-aluminum trailers. This position offers the opportunity to be home every day, with occasional Saturday runs on a volunteer basis during peak seasons. The pay is performance-based, with current drivers earning between $70,000-$80,000 annually. Drivers are expected to complete 3-4 loads per day, with a daily run to St. George and back on a rotating basis. Loaders are available in Salt Lake, and unloaders are at all branches, minimizing downtime. Burton Lumber has a long history in Utah, serving the community for over 112 years.

Requirements

• Class A Driver's License
• Ability to complete 3-4 loads per day
• Willingness to participate in St. George run rotation
• Experience with E-logs
