About The Position

Reddy Ice is a leading brand in ice production and manufacturing, known for its commitment to consistency, quality, and service. This position involves delivering ice to customers using articulated vehicles that require a CDL class A license. Drivers may be assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and equipment operated are subject to change based on business needs. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have a current/valid class A CDL license.
Must possess a driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required.

Nice To Haves

Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) requiring a CDL class A license.
Transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations.
Unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers/iceboxes.
Drive between retail stores and plant locations.
Perform work in retail stores.
