About The Position

A full-service logistics provider dedicated to offering innovative supply chain solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients in South Carolina and beyond. With a focus on reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, our customer specializes in transportation, warehousing, and distribution services that help businesses optimize their operations. They are currently looking for a Class A Commercial Driver for their distribution center. Hourly Rate: $20- $22 per hour Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) and a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
Safe Driving record, in accordance with DOT regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of relevant driving experience.
Ability to pass random drug tests.
Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices.
Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
Dependability and reliability.
Have Steel-toe boots

Responsibilities

Drive and operate a pick-up truck with a flatbed trailer/hot shot
Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed
Pre-inspect the truck and securely strap the cargo, ensuring safe loading and unloading with the appropriate equipment.
Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes always.
