About The Position
The Class A CDL Truck Driver will support SMS group customer business. SMS group is an industrial equipment manufacturer for the steel industry. We design, build, and service equipment and steel plants across the globe with a strong technical services/machine shop network in North America. SMS group Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL driver's license with an updated Medical Card and no driving restrictions
- Excellent driving record
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- A safety minded worker who is drug free, dependable, and able to maintain an excellent attendance record
Responsibilities
- Driving 50 ft., 6-8 axel flatbed semi-trailers
- Loading/unloading truck using an overhead crane, including chaining and tarping the load
- Maintaining the vehicle and records
- Working the night shift, weekends and overtime
- Cross-training on other jobs when not trucking
