Regional Class A CDL truck driving position with weekends at home. Drivers operate primarily in Western states, with occasional trips farther east, and average approximately 1,800 miles per week depending on hours-of-service limits and freight availability. The average length of haul is 300 miles. Freight is 100% no-touch, with a mix of 50–60% drop-and-hook loads and 40–50% live unloads. Drivers use 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth tractors. Drivers are home every Saturday and Sunday for a full 34-hour reset. The top 20% of regional drivers average $1,250 or more per week. Compensation also includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus, detention pay of $12.50 per hour after two hours (or higher where required by state law), and layover or breakdown pay of $100 per day (or higher where required by state law).
