About The Position

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm, is seeking a Class A CDL Tanker Driver for its Thousand Oaks, CA team. This role involves the safe transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, ensuring strict adherence to all regulations. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, safety-focused, and responsible for operating commercial vehicles, conducting inspections, maintaining digital logs, and following safety protocols. This position reports to the Transportation Manager and operates on a Wednesday to Sunday schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Active Tanker endorsement.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
  • Willingness to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours within the work week (Wednesday-Sunday).
  • Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required.

  • Previous experience in environmental services or related field.
  • Active Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including tractor trailers, tankers, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities as part of the Emergency Response team.
  • Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operating condition.
  • Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, adhering to DOT regulations.
  • Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients for timely service delivery.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
  • Properly secure loads for safe and compliant transportation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
