This position is responsible for delivering products to all scheduled accounts in a timely manner, picking up trade returns, and exerting a maximum selling effort for our products. This includes increasing shelf space, creating and maintaining floor displays, merchandising products using P.O.S. materials, and following Driver-Sales Processes on every delivery. The driver will maintain quality control by checking code dates and rotating beer in storerooms and coolers, ensuring a First-in / First-out delivery method. They will maintain cordial relations with retailers and their staff, pre-cutting cases before delivery when necessary and stacking products safely and neatly. Building displays may be required at the direction of management. The driver will also pick up trade returns (empty kegs, pallets, and exports) and, upon request, old or out-of-date product. Safe and courteous driving and parking practices are expected, avoiding blocking of driveways, gas pumps, entrances, or exits. Drivers must verify load accuracy before leaving the warehouse and check in with the Driver Manager or Warehouse Manager daily. Compliance with all company policies, rules, and regulations is mandatory. Drivers are responsible for products, load sheets, invoices, and collected money, ensuring all invoices are collected at the time of delivery unless prepaid, and obtaining necessary signatures. Products must be kept secure at all times. Double-checking delivery invoices and payments for accuracy is crucial. Drivers must call Operations before leaving their last stop and upon returning to the warehouse, and verify their load with the Warehouse Manager upon return. The check-in procedure involves turning in all money, tickets, and load sheets, verifying returns with the warehouse, and ensuring proper reflection on the iPad. No driver may leave the Check-In room until their load, tickets, and money are verified. Drivers are responsible for maintaining hand trucks and must replace lost or missing ones at their own expense. Trucks must be kept clean, with trash removed daily, and washed when signage indicates. A Vehicle Inspection Report must be completed morning and evening, with the original given to the Driver Manager and a copy kept in the truck. Accidents must be reported immediately, and an accident report form completed as soon as possible. Drivers must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and are not allowed to transport unauthorized passengers. A complete Anheuser-Busch authorized uniform and steel-toed shoes are required. Daily refueling, and checks of oil, water, and tires on the assigned truck are mandatory. Participation in surveys, contests, and P.O.S. material placement is required, along with completing Impact Sheets. Drivers must maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times and carry Supplier/Partner Code Date Cards or have the digital app on their phone. Adherence to Bob Hall and Supplier/Partner Rotation Policies is required.
