About The Position

The Semi Driver is responsible for operation of commercial motor vehicle to pick up raw material with attention to prompt and efficient customer service. This role involves running established routes, picking up raw materials, weighing in raw material when returning to the plant, and weighing in and out of customer locations as needed. The driver is responsible for maintaining the company vehicle in clean condition and conducting all safety checks and inspections. Operation of the vehicle must adhere to state, federal, and local regulations, as well as company policy and procedures, while observing all company safety rules. Maintaining excellent customer relations through professional appearance and attitude is essential. The role also requires completing all company-required paperwork accurately and on time, including route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, mileage reports, and service forms. A daily vehicle condition report must be maintained, and DOT hours of service must be managed with an onboard computer in accordance with company policy. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be current CDL Class A holder with tanker endorsement
Must have a clean MVR
Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/

Responsibilities
