This position is responsible for operating a roll-off truck to pick up 30-yard bins and compactors and deliver totes to bakery customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer-service skills, and the flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and operational needs. A valid CDL with no automatic-transmission restriction is required.

  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Strong commitment to safety and responsible equipment operation.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing routes, schedules, and business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous roll-off truck experience.
  • Experience handling large bins, compactors, or similar equipment.
  • Familiarity with commercial pickup-and-delivery routes.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a roll-off truck in compliance with company, DOT, and local safety regulations.
  • Pick up and transport 30-yard bins and compactors from bakery customer locations.
  • Deliver totes to bakery customers according to scheduled routes.
  • Complete pickups and deliveries safely, accurately, and on time.
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
  • Properly secure loads and confirm equipment is handled safely.
  • Report vehicle, equipment, route, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
