The Route Driver is responsible for servicing retail store locations along an assigned route. Primary duties include collecting, transporting, and tipping 3-yard bins, washing and sanitizing bins, accurately documenting collected weights, and providing excellent customer service at every stop. This position requires a safety-focused, dependable driver who can work independently, manage daily route responsibilities, and remain flexible as customer volume and operational needs change. Service assigned retail store locations according to the established route schedule. Safely pick up, transport, and tip 3-yard bins. Wash and sanitize bins as required. Complete approximately 10–15 stops per day. Accurately calculate and document all collected pounds and weights. Complete and submit all required paperwork, route documentation, and daily reports to administrative staff. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Immediately report vehicle, equipment, safety, or route-related concerns. Maintain compliance with all applicable DOT regulations and company safety policies. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, administrative staff, and other team members. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs. Regular workdays are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday and weekends are normally scheduled days off but may be required based on operational needs. The typical workweek is approximately 40–45 hours. Route assignments and schedules may change due to company growth, customer volume, or operational requirements. Drivers must be flexible and willing to accommodate route and schedule modifications when necessary. Occasional overnight layovers may be required when a route cannot be completed within the scheduled workday.
