About The Position

Denali Water Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Route Driver to service retail customers along designated regional routes. This position is responsible for collecting and transporting materials from customer locations while maintaining excellent customer service and strict compliance with DOT and company safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating route-based equipment, managing multiple daily stops, and working independently throughout overnight regional routes. Drivers will primarily service retail partners such as Walmart and Sprouts, handling approximately 10–15 stops per day while safely tipping 3-yard bins onto trailers. This position is safety-sensitive and requires a clear mind and diligence. Employees are responsible for their own safety as well as the safety of others.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL License
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Clean MVR and stable work history
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage route schedules and multiple daily stops
  • Basic computer and cell phone proficiency
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Previous route driving experience servicing retail or commercial accounts
  • Experience operating tipper systems or waste/recycling collection equipment
  • Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
  • Waste, recycling, logistics, or transportation industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies
  • Service assigned retail customer routes including Walmart, Sprouts, and other customer locations
  • Complete approximately 10–15 daily stops efficiently and safely
  • Operate equipment used to tip and transport 3-yard bins onto trailers
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, route paperwork, and service documentation
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch, operations, and customers to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of trucks and equipment
  • Report all accidents, injuries, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately
  • Attend required safety meetings, trainings, and operational briefings
  • Follow all DOT, company, and customer safety requirements
