About The Position
This dedicated local driving position hauls live poultry from local farms to a processing facility. The role offers daily home time, steady freight, multiple loads per day, and consistent local routes in a dedicated agricultural operation. Drivers operate modern automatic day-cab tractors and flatbed trailers. The position includes year-round freight and Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
- Ability to safely secure loads using straps and a cheater bar.
- Comfort driving on farm roads with uneven terrain, grades, and ditches.
- Strong safety record and dependable attendance.
- Ability to properly inspect and secure freight before transport.
- Comfort working in agricultural environments.
