About The Position
Major Carrier is seeking a Class A CDL driver for a Local Dedicated Intermodal position at the Edwardsville Terminal. This role involves picking up and dropping off containers locally. The work is primarily drop and hook, with occasional live load/unload, and is no-touch freight. Shifts are available during the day or night, with schedules running Sundays through Thursdays, or Tuesdays through Saturdays. Drivers can expect 12-hour workdays, with an average weekly pay of $1000-$1200 based on hourly pay plus load pay for 3-5 short hauls per day.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- No incidents within the past year
- CDL address must match hiring area
- 6 months 53' Tractor Trailer Experience within last year Required
- No termination from previous driving job
- No SAP Drivers
- Hair Follicle Drug Screening
