About The Position
Major Carrier is seeking a Class A CDL driver for a Local Dedicated Intermodal position at their Columbus Terminal. This role involves picking up and dropping off containers along the railways. The freight is no-touch, consisting of drop & hook, live load/unload. Drivers can expect 10-12 hour shifts with either morning or evening starts. The schedule is either Sundays through Thursdays or Tuesdays through Saturdays. Compensation includes load pay and CPM pay, with an average weekly earning of $1100-$1400.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- No incidents within the past year
- CDL address must match hiring area
- 6 months 53' Tractor Trailer Experience within last year Required
- No termination from previous driving job
- No Sap Drivers
- Hair Follicle Drug Screening
