About The Position

AWH Logistics, LLC is looking for an experienced Class A Lead delivery driver for unattended commercial deliveries in Garfield Heights, OH. This is a long-term W2 position with benefits and health insurance, working exclusively with Lanter Delivery Systems. The schedule is Monday-Friday nighttime positions with no weekends, and drivers are home daily. The role involves training new team members, filling in where needed, problem-solving, route knowledge, and ensuring high quality with the team. The driver will be responsible for covering vacations, call-offs, and vacant routes. The driver will work every day Monday-Friday with evening to overnight routes. Travel may be required at times to assist other terminals (Garfield Heights and Youngstown). The driver must be willing to adapt their schedule with short notice.

Requirements

Must be 21 years old
Three years verifiable commercial driving experience (step-van, box truck/sprinter, equivalent size vehicle, etc.) in the past 3 years
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Must have valid DOT Medical Card
Must have valid class A license
Must pass a road test
Must consent to a MVR, criminal background check and drug screen (AWH Logistics, LLC must receive a negative result)
Must consent to FMCSA Clearinghouse annual/limited queries and hold a Not Prohibited status
Ability to safely climb into the truck/trailer with/without the lift gate
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs as needed
Familiarity of DOT & FMCSA Regulations
