About The Position

Shepherd Oil Company, established in 1949, operates more than 60 trucks throughout Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas, with supply from terminals throughout the Midwest. Our Drivers are an integral part of Shepherd Oil Company. This position involves local hauls, ensuring drivers are home every night. Drivers will have two days off each week, which will occur during the week (e.g., Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday).

Requirements

Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required.
Must be at least 23 years of age.
Must be able to drive 13 and/or 18 speed trucks.
No minimum driving experience required.

Responsibilities

Transport fuel using a Class A CDL vehicle.
Ensure safety protocols are followed, including utilizing company-provided safety equipment like cameras.
Operate late model Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks with 13 & 18 speeds.
Utilize Elogs through Samsara.
Complete local hauls and be home every night.
